My entry for ginkgografix's Fellas World - Contest, the pixel art/emoticons category.
This shouldn't have been this hard. I mean. This is an expression I have done a few other times. I already had a Fella shaded and sitting in a folder. Simple plug and chug, right?
Wrong. Holy crap. I had to rework the eyebrows. Repeatedly. I kept messing up the animation. Tweaking the eyes. The brows some more. Then I scrapped the whole thing.
I finally moved stuff down a pixel or two (even though I was afraid it would make it waaay too cramped) and ended up with something I am actually pretty happy with.
I imagine Fella enjoys his life and has a lot of good fun. This leads to lots of laughs. Like, belly laughs. The best kind.
