dAily Life
EDIT Gone for the weekend, and maybe only around a bit for the two weeks after that. I have a friend coming to stay with me and I am unsure how much downtime I will have. Shoot me a note if it's super important, otherwise, see you on the flip side!
First things first, I have commissioned some Calymotes....er...I mean...Claymotes from the wonderful Kohaku0827...and they look awesome!! I mean, Carl's brains? REALLY!?!?! If you are interested in some of your own, they are reasonable prized. More info found here.
Secondly, today marks 10 years since I eloped with my hubby and we got married in some lady's living room. It doesn't sound that amazing, I know, as there was no reception, or big white dress, or tons of people to stare at me. Which, happens to be just how I liked it. It was just me and my love, committing ourselves to each other, legally. It has been a crazy decade and I hope for many more like it. I also hope for a pair of shoes to commemorate the day, but I might have to wait until the hubs returns from his deployment before we can fully celebrate this momentous occasion...with shoes...
I have been spending what little free time I have devoted to yarn. I have a blanket I started almost a year ago that I need to finish, as well as a shrug I started fairly recently for a Crochet-A-Long. After I focus on these two personal projects, I really hope to open up my commissions again. I have a list 7 of you who think my stuff rocks hard enough that you will pay me for it, so I hope to be able to fill these requests soon.
That said, I even have a pixel idea or three bouncing around my head. Whether or not I will find time for them, though, is another story entirely. I hope, but I find I am not holding my breath. Since Tyler gave up naps, sitting here longer than checking my messages has become more and more difficult. We shall see, though.
And, on a final note, stuck-in-suburbia's This and That Emote Pack Contest has drawn to a close...and now she NEEDS YOU to give your opinion on the People's Choice section. All you have to do is CLICK THIS LINK, type up a little blurb about which piece you prefer, and why, and hit submit, or something. Sounds easy enough, right?!?!?! Unless, of course, you prefer multiple entries and haven't figured out how to whittle it down to just one choice, in which case you might be waiting until the last minute so you can use the pressure to force your hand....wait, what? Move along now, nothing to see here...

I announced the deviantART Related Collaborations Contest about two months ago, and during the time it ran, received about twenty different, amazing entries! As every entry was in some way a collaboration between two or more people (and some entered more than once), that means about 35 people participated altogether. It was great to see so many people, often from different mediums and areas of the site come together to collaborate and create something together. Thanks so much to every single participant
So many amazin
