My grandmother is a 15 year survivor of breast cancer. Jen has beaten it twice now. If awareness spreads, more ladies would know to check themselves and get themselves checked as often as necessary. There could be more survivor stories.
Ok, another stamp. My animation works so much smoother with less transparency. This took me much longer than I thought it would. I started it, thinking "A quick entry to help `JunkbyJen surpass her entry total from last year, no biggie!" But, as I started working on it, I realized it wasn't going to be that easy. I just kept thinking of little things to tweak it. From the awkward Hope to the tiny ribbons in the corners. I am really happy with how this turned out.
I couldn't agree more! Fortunately, Mum was diagnosed during Stage 1, so has a very good chance of beating the curse! Still, I'm so glad that this type of cancer has received so much attention - the more awareness there is, the more chances sufferers have, of surviving!
Thanks again, for sharing this lovely stamp!
