My name is Caly and I am an Emotiholic. I joined dA almost five years ago, but browsed it a year or more before that as I thought it was pretty here. I finally signed up so I could use the magical Fav button, and lurked for a bit as I admired from a far. Then, one day, I realized my art program had an animation program. I realized I had a tool at my disposal to make the little bouncing, entertaining beings called emotes! I searched for a tutorial, any tutorial, and began my experimenting.

I entered the emote scene when the "Will work..." for signs were the popular fad. I felt so clever when I did a "Will Work 4 Sparkles" sign. That was the first emote I made that led me to believe perhaps I could be one of the elite. Perhaps I could work to become handy with a round blob and make others smile. I have been working for chuckles ever since.
