I check the site daily, try to keep my message center under control, fail horribly at this, and then wander away. I have tons of news articles, deviations, and watches/favs I have to deal with. I have managed to stay on top of journals and comments/replies though. Things have just been crazy offline that I don't have the focus or energy to really look at all the art that is in my devwatch at the moment. But I intend to.

For anyone keeping up with it, I failed my three hour sugar test. I was not surprised. What does this mean? I am now considered diabetic (gestational diabetic) and have to follow a "meal plan" which keeps my sugar intake to a bare minimum. Oh, and I have to use a needle to prick my fingers four times a day so I can test my blood sugar and make sure it isn't too high. The upside is the meal plan is actually pretty easy to follow. It is really close to how I was eating while the hubs was away for four months, and it coincides pretty nicely with Dylan's rather strict diet. My numbers from the poking haven't been too high, but damn that poking hurts. More like, it stings like a bitch afterwards for a couple minutes. The downside, sometimes the fetus, he wants sugar. I deny him, but it is hard to do.

As of today, I am in my last trimester. Three months, or a mere 12 weeks, to go. He is ready to come out now, I think, as he is constantly kicking, punching, and stretching in there. It makes sleeping a little tough, and I haven't even hit the uncomfortable part of the pregnancy.

Dylan and I will most likely be spending Thanksgiving alone, what with the hubs in Europe because of his job. This is probably for the best due to our diets, but it still makes me a little sad to think about. Bring on December, I say.
